Hurricane is the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Guns & Guitars which topped the ARIA Australian Albums Country Sales charts when released in 2008.
Forde, a 2010 APRA Awards nominee, CMC TV channel host and one of Australia's best known Country artists, wrote nine of the ten new tracks on the album with collaborators Matt Scullion and Josh Barker. Hurricane is edgier and rawer than anything Steve Forde has ever done before and has taken him in a new direction creatively.
Forde is supporting Tim McGraw on his National Arena Tour in September which will be attended by over 50,000 people all up.
